Description:

Carburetor heaters are designed to keep moisture from the incoming fuel line from freezing in the engine, which can disrupt generator operation.
Heaters have a built-in thermostat that automatically turns heaters on and off when needed.
The carburetor heater is recommended for improved cold starting in locations where temperatures fall below 0°C (32°F).
Heaters are offered on 6-20kW air-cooled units and are recommended in regions that experience extended cold-weather seasons.
Applicable models: 6VSG, 8.5RES, 12RES, 14/20RES/RESL/RESA/RESAL, 17/18RES.
